It depends on the system’s age, the cost of the repair, and its efficiency. As a rule, we repair what makes sense to repair and only recommend replacement when it’s genuinely the better long-term value. We’ll walk you through both options honestly.
With proper maintenance, most furnaces last around 15 to 20 years and central air conditioners about 12 to 15. Regular servicing helps you reach the upper end of that range and avoid early breakdowns.
